Conditions of participation

•  All courses taking place at Foil School Nederland are exclusively under the supervision of a certified and experienced instructor.

• The student is aware of the fact that participation in a course involves some risks. Participation in an activity is therefore entirely at one’s own risk.

• The participant hereby declares to be in good physical condition. Injuries and other important facts must be reported in advance. This way Foil School Nederland can give the best possible advice on participation.

• When pregnant, participation in a course is prohibited.

• A swimming certificate is mandatory to participate in a course.

• At Foil School Nederland, wearing a helmet is mandatory during all courses.

• The student must follow the instructions of the instructor at all times. The consequences of not following the instructions is at the students own risk. Any damage caused to the materials of Foil School Nederland may be charged to the student.

• Foil School Nederland is not liable if the student suffers an injury or damage through his or her own actions, or causes an injury or damage to a third party. However, if the injury or damage is caused by the fault or error of Foil School Nederland, they are liable.

• Consumption of alcohol or other drugs before or during the course is not permitted.

• Foil School Nederland may cancel and/or reschedule a lesson at any time based on the weather forecast.

• In case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the scheduled course, Foil School Nederland is obliged to charge 50% of the course fee. In consultation we are very flexible to make other arrangements if serious personal issues are involved.
