Do you want to learn to surf on the smallest surf days? Then come learn foilsurfing at Foil School Nederland. Through a hydrofoil we teach you how to float above the water with minimal surf conditions. And flying above the water is an unforgettable experience!

What does the lesson look like?

We start the foilsurf lesson on the beach. On the mainland, we perform the following steps:

We give you a brief explanation of the function of the surf hydrofoil
We’ll make safety arrangements so you can get out on the water as safely as possible

After the demo by our experienced instructors, we’ve had enough chatting and watching. Time to get on the water and practice!

Can I use my own equipment during the lesson?

Eventually, you have to do it with your own equipment. So it’s very understandable that you already want to practice with your own gear! By mutual agreement this is possible. Still, we prefer the use of school equipment. Why? This way we’re sure that you are learning with the best equipment to make optimal progression.
What do I have to bring with me?

It’s very important to bring your own surf or water shoes. You need them in order to protect your feet against oysters and/or sharp shells in the water. Also bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen with you!
How long does a class take?

The standard foilsurf private or duo lesson lasts 3 hours. We also offer a shorter private lesson of 2 hours.
What equipment do you teach with?

For the foilsurf lessons we use the newest Fanatic boards and foils.
How does the payment of a booked lesson work?

We work with forces of nature that we cannot control. Because the weather leads a life on its own sometimes, you pay whenever you’re actually at Foil School Nederland for your foilsurf lesson. We have a mobile pin or cash.

About Foil School Nederland

Foil School Nederland was born out of great passion for the sport of foil. As the first in the Netherlands we started offering kitefoil, wingsurf, wakefoil, foilsurf lessons. The most experienced and stoked instructors have come together to share their passion with you.

Foil School Nederland works with a mobile school so we can always guarantee you the best locations for lessons in Zuid-Holland or Zeeland. We prefer the Brouwersdam, Maasvlakte, Grevelingendam or Oostvoorne. Is this hard to reach or do you prefer another spot? No worries! We are happy to think with you and are willing to come to your location.

Our goals for each lesson are clear: safety, progression and FUN!
